What is OnionSkin?
In animation software, the Onion Skin function is a key tool. Its function is derived from the practice of traditional hand-drawn animation and is designed to help animators create smooth animation effects more efficiently.

Options in setting:
- Opacity: the first skin's opacity
- Opacity step: the opacity offset after first skin
- Forward count: amount of skins after this frame
- Backward count: amount of skins before this frame
- Behind sprite: if show skins behind the current frame
- Tint Mode: provide 3 tint mode of skins
Toggle OnionSkin
Three way to toggle OnionSkin:
- Preferences->OnionSkin
- Menu->View->Show OnionSkin
- Gesture: Enable single finger gesture, drag up down to toggle OnionSkin
- The onionSkin action bar button
FAQ
- Why can not see the onion skin? Please hide the big background layer(click the eye👀 button of the layer).
