Master the Core Gestures
This quick start covers the default touch and Apple Pencil shortcuts so you can begin drawing immediately. Follow the linked articles once you are comfortable with the basics.
Undo and Redo
- Double-tap with two fingers to undo the last action.
- Double-tap with three fingers to redo your most recent undo.

Manage Layers
- Double-tap a layer name to open the layer menu, then choose New Layer.
- Long-press a layer thumbnail and drag to reorder or move it into a group.

Sample Colours and Adjust Brushes
- Long-press on the canvas or a reference image to sample the colour beneath your finger.
- Drag horizontally or vertically on the canvas to adjust brush size.

Accelerate Repetitive Actions
- Press firmly with Apple Pencil to trigger the fill bucket.
- Open Menu ▸ View ▸ Timeline position to dock the timeline on the side.
- Drag a swatch out of the palette window to remove it.
