How do I copy and paste selected content?

Activate a selection tool and pick the area you want to duplicate.
Use the up and down arrows in the tool options bar, or open Menu ▸ Edit and choose Copy / Paste. You do not need to marquee the full canvas before copying the entire layer—Edit ▸ Copy captures everything automatically.

To duplicate animation frames or cels, open the timeline:

Double-tap a cel to open the context menu, then choose Duplicate Cell or Inherit as needed.
Multi-select cels or frames (long-press and drag, or use keyboard modifiers on desktop) and use the contextual Copy / Paste commands. Timeline copy operations also work across different .resprite files, letting you migrate animations between projects.***
