Resprite iOS R58: Custom Brush Flip/Rotate, Safer Previews, and Trial Export Updates
Resprite iOS R58 is now available. This release focuses on a more flexible custom brush workflow and several stability refinements around floating panels, previews, and export dialogs. Custom brushes can now be flipped or rotated temporarily without changing the original brush file, preview and reference images are harder to lose off-screen, Bead Pattern export estimates are more reliable with large palettes, and trial exports return to daily attempt limits without watermarks.
Custom Brush Transforms
- Custom brushes now support temporary horizontal and vertical flipping.
- Custom brushes also support 90° left and right rotation.
- The active transform is reflected consistently in the brush library preview, brush tip preview, canvas preview, and actual drawing result.
- These operations do not modify the original brush image file, so they are suitable for quick directional variants while drawing.
Floating Panels and Previews
- The Contextual Floating Toolbar now docks correctly inside the visible canvas container when shown at the bottom, avoiding overlap with the bottom timeline and excessive offset in side timeline layouts.
- Snapped floating panels no longer replay snap sound or haptic feedback when tapping the title bar or releasing in place. Feedback now plays only when moving to a new snap target.
- Preview window images and standalone reference images now constrain their position after panning and zooming, helping prevent accidental moves that make the image completely invisible.
Bead Pattern and Trial Exports
- The estimated resolution in the Bead Pattern export dialog now caps large-palette legend estimates, preventing multi-frame files or large palettes from making the displayed output size excessively high.
- Bead Pattern exports now show Resprite text in the top-right header instead of the app icon, making the mark clearer and more restrained for printing and sharing.
- Trial exports no longer add watermarks and now use a daily attempt limit again, with no format limits.
