Fonts

Resprite supports two font systems: custom bitmap Resprite fonts for pixel-precise glyphs, and vector fonts for standard typography. Supported file formats vary by platform:

PlatformResprite fontsVector fonts
iOS.resfont, legacy .resprite-font.ttf, .ttc, .otf, .otc
Desktop / Android.resfont, legacy .resprite-font.ttf

Downloads on this page use the current .resfont extension. Older .resprite-font packages remain import-compatible.

  3. Since iOS R53, you can also send supported font files directly from the Files app to Resprite for faster importing.

Install font workflow

Desktop / Android

  1. Open Insert Text.
  2. Use the + button in the font list to import a supported font file.
  3. On desktop, you can also drag supported .ttf, .resfont, or legacy .resprite-font files into Resprite.

For additional text-tool options and font creation, see Insert Text.
