Resprite iOS R52: HSL Spectrum Picker, Perspective Grid, and Grid Snapping

Resprite iOS R52 is now released. This update focuses on color and grid workflows: the new HSL spectrum color picker, perspective grid, and grid snapping. It also adds dedicated settings pages for assistive grids and files/storage, plus stability and usability improvements across timeline and Free Transform.

New​

Improvements​

  • Added floating toolbars for the Symmetry tool and grid lines.

  • Clicking a timeline cell now also flashes its corresponding content range.

  • Improved transparent checkerboard rendering performance.

  • When drawing perfect squares or circles, the longer side is now used as the reference.

  • Refined some localization strings.

  • Notifications are now shown in a non-blocking way.

  • Batch export now shows the current file index.

  • Improved timeline rendering performance.

  • Undo is now supported when moving the Symmetry tool or the Perspective grid.

  • When scaling a selection proportionally, the scale percentage is shown and snaps to integer multiples.

  • Rectangular grids now support offset settings.

Change​

  • Renamed palette menu item "Like Indexed" to "Auto Replace", and aligned translations. Palette Menu Auto Replace

Fixes​

  • Fixed a crash caused by a race condition in Free Transform.
  • Fixed an out-of-bounds issue for layer cells in the timeline grid.
  • Fixed dropdown menus overflowing the window when too many options were present.
  • Fixed an issue where timelapse export duration could be inaccurate and the tail might be missing.
