Resprite iOS R51: PSD Export, APNG Support, and 7 New Languages

We are excited to announce the release of Resprite iOS R51! This update introduces PSD export with layer groups and blend modes, native support for APNG import/export, folder pinning, and localization for 7 new languages.

New Features​

  • PSD Export: Export PSD files with layer groups, blend modes, and Unicode layer names. (Export menu -> PSD) Export PSD

  • New Languages: Added support for Dutch, Turkish, Polish, Thai, Ukrainian, Czech, and Traditional Chinese.

  • APNG Support: Import and export animated APNG images. Import APNG Export APNG

Improvements​

  • Pin Folders: Support for pinning folders to the top of the gallery. Pin Folders

  • Color Interpolation: Switch between HSV and RGB modes. Color Interpolation

  • Interactive Canvas Resize: Adjust canvas size interactively. Interactive Canvas Resize

  • Layer Thumbnails: Timeline now supports layer thumbnails. Layer Thumbnails

  • Aligned existing localizations and corrected translation issues.

  • Updated font files to fix missing glyphs in certain languages.

  • Fonts can now be renamed.

  • Brush preview now mirrors in the preview window.

  • Better timeline menu positioning to avoid being covered by fingers.

  • Added progress indicators for GIF, APNG, and video export.

Bug Fixes​

  • Fixed memory leak when exporting time-lapse drawing videos.
  • Resolved row misalignment in some exported GIFs.
  • Fixed crash caused by numeric keypad under certain conditions on iOS 26.
  • Fixed incorrect default background color for bead patterns.
