Does Resprite support indexed colour?

Resprite does not maintain true indexed colour files internally. The app edits artwork as full-colour pixels to keep layer editing, file compatibility, and colour operations flexible.

If your goal is palette-driven recolouring, the iOS version provides Menu ▸ Palette ▸ Auto replace. When this option is active, editing an existing palette swatch replaces matching pixels across the artwork, which gives you a workflow similar to indexed-colour editing without storing the document as an indexed-colour file.

This feature was previously called Like Indexed. The current UI name is Auto replace, and the user-visible entry is currently available on iOS only.
