Overview​

Resprite for iPhone debuted with Resprite R14 on July 10, 2023. The feature set mirrors the iPad edition, and premium access is shared across devices so one subscription unlocks both platforms.

Differences from the iPad edition​

  • The compact display leaves less room for panels, so plan to toggle interface elements more frequently.
  • Apple Pencil is not supported on iPhone; multi-touch gestures provide precise control instead.

Expand the available canvas space​

Keep the canvas visible while working on an iPhone with these adjustments:

  1. Enable full-screen mode to hide the system status bar and navigation chrome.
  2. Hide the timeline action bar whenever you are not animating.
  3. Collapse or close the timeline if you only need a single layer.
  4. Position the floating toolbar where it feels comfortable, then lock it to prevent accidental movement.
