Preview Desktop Updates Early

The Resprite beta branch on Steam delivers new functionality and fixes ahead of the regular release channel. It updates more frequently and may contain unfinished changes, so expect occasional instability.

Join the Beta Branch​

  1. Open your Steam Library and locate Resprite.
  2. Right-click Resprite and choose Properties.
  3. Select the Betas tab in the left sidebar.
  4. Use the dropdown menu to pick the available testing branch (for example, beta or public-beta).

Steam confirms the selection and starts downloading the build after you close the Properties window. Launch Resprite normally once the update finishes.

Return to the Public Build​

Repeat the steps above and choose None from the Betas dropdown to leave the beta branch. Steam rolls back to the latest stable desktop release.
