Fine-Tune Selections

Use the selection tools to target the pixels you want to transform. Resprite then exposes handles for moving, scaling, rotating, and skewing the highlighted area.

Move

Drag inside the selection to reposition it freely. For single-pixel precision, tap the directional buttons /doc-imgs/move-btns.jpeg in the options bar to nudge the selection.

Resize

Drag any corner or edge handle to resize the selection. Hold the opposite handle steady to anchor scaling around a fixed point.

Rotate

Use the rotation handle /doc-imgs/rotate-handle.png to reach the desired angle. The live indicator above the handle displays the current degree value.

Skew (Shear)

Skew handles /doc-imgs/skew-handle.png let you shear the selection horizontally or vertically—ideal for isometric walls and perspective adjustments.

About isometric angles

A perfect isometric projection uses approximately 26.565° (arctan ½). Because Resprite’s skew control snaps to whole degrees, you may need to fine-tune between 26° and 27° depending on your desired look.
