Gallery item management
The gallery stores every sprite, bundle, and folder in Resprite. Use it to organise projects, duplicate references, and open work-in-progress files.

Sort gallery items
Tap the sort menu in the upper-left corner
to switch between:
- By date – most recently modified items appear first.
- By kind – folders are grouped before sprites; items of the same type are sorted alphabetically.
- By name – all items sorted alphabetically, regardless of type.
Duplicate, rename, delete
Long-press any item to open the context menu.

Available actions:
- Duplicate – creates a copy in the current folder.
- Rename – change the display name.
- Delete – moves the item to the system trash.
- Show in Files – jump directly to the file’s location in the Files app.
Create folders
Tap the folder icon
in the upper-right corner to create a new folder inside the current view.
Files & Storage settings page
Since R52, file-related options are grouped under Preferences ▸ Files & Storage. If older docs mention separate locations for these settings, use this page as the current source of truth.

Pin folders
You can pin important folders to the top of the gallery for quick access. Long-press a folder and select Pin from the menu.

Filter by file type
On desktop, the gallery shows a file type badge on each item so you can distinguish projects at a glance.
Use the type filter at the bottom of the gallery to show only specific formats—helpful when you are focusing on animation projects, reference files, or export-ready assets.
Tiny Grid view (v1.29.2+)
Gallery and Recent now include a Tiny Grid density option for high-volume libraries. This view shows more items per screen and is useful when you need fast scanning rather than large previews.

Move items
Drag items onto a folder to move them inside. To exit a folder, drag the item onto the Back shortcut at the top of the breadcrumb trail.
